Rev. Charles B. Bailey was Pastor Emeritus of Salem Baptist Church of Kansas City, KS having served faithfully as Senior Pastor for 45 years. Bailey was so passionate about evangelism that he taped REPENT and TRY JESUS on his cars in large letters with red reflector tape! Previously, he served honorably in the United States Army and earned academic credentials from American Baptist Theological Seminary (Nashville, TN), and Western Baptist College (Kansas City, MO). His wife of 60 years, Mrs. Geneva A. Bailey, served by his side as Sunday School and Baptist Training Union teacher, encourager, counselor, and Director of Christian Education. Her academic training includes degrees from Central Baptist Theological Seminary (Kansas City, KS), Park College (Parkville, MO), and Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS).
